Here's a couple of old pics of my AR's. The 15-22 is the same, the Spikes now has a 13' Troy Alpha rail and the lights were moved around.

The Thorntail mount on the top two is great. I tried numerous flashlight mounts before this and just couldn't find one that placed the light in a position where I could activate it without repositioning my hand a little. With the way I grip the rifle, my thumb is practically right next to it. Very comfortable.

The same thing goes for the offset mount at the bottom rifle. I actually placed the offset mount on the Spikes build along with the WML once I got the Troy Alpha rail. With the tubular rail, the offset mount with WML places the light in just the right spot for me.

I'll take some updated pics soon.
