Carry Handle Modifications

More power to ya man- just got mine (well, the wife's) and am having trouble figuring how to mount a red-dot with that handle up there- plan on adding a laser, but for daytime that's useless.
 
I would actually like to have a carry handle for my Flattop. But I am not sure if they make one for a flattop. I would feel more a home with the carry handle site.

There are numerous manufacturers that make handles that will attach to a rail.

You'll also have to consider a front sight... If you just want to mount optics Debay has some cast handles with sights and scope adapter for $20-$30. Different heights for different sights--I'd have to look through my pics. A forged "regular" height handle is mil-spec and can run you around $50.
 
Don't mean to revive a dead thread, just got my 715T today but it's the rail kind so I'm gonna try and convert to flattop. Trying to find a rail for the top
 
you can buy the 2 halves from mossberg. left and right flat top stock #19564 and #19565 ,left and right fore arm #19566 and #19567. each flat top shell half is $12 and forearm$7.25. less than $30 for 4 pieces.
