soros funding oregon governor campaign

Hopefully her opponent will be well funded. Oregon will be a tough race with all the libs up there. Now church groups are even going over to the dark side. Churches going to the left is an oxymoron, but a sign of the times.

Considering all the things that I believe the left does that is immoral and contradictory to what the Bible teaches, yeah, it is stupid of them. Then again, I don't think that every church/religion has the same God either, so ....

I guess this dovetails nicely with her statements today about not sending troops to the border if Trump requests them. Soros sure bought a willing minion in her. I assume everyone knows that Soros is not a believer in sovereign nations or borders.

IMHO, a Christian person of conscience has trouble throwing all their weight behind any politician...it's often the "hold your nose and vote" routine. I'd be more inclined to vote Libertarian or independent (if they was a candidate that had a chance) and see a reduction of big government interference.

If there was a wave of support for independents and people were willing to boot the established parties (US & Can.) in favor of a fresh start...we might have a hope. They would have to clean out the top bureaucrats out of the civil services...show them the door, but we're talking a major re-boot. I don't know if it's possible now without bloodshed and all the money at play.

The problem with many states here in the US (and probably Canada) is that the major cities control the voting for the rest of the state due to the large populations in them. The middle class is under-represented. Either the liberal weinies with tons of money and ability to live in a "nice" area in the downtown or urburbs with large police and fire depts and public services OR the poor living a government-subsidized lifestyle in the not so nice areas in the cities. Both groups vote for the people that will allow them to maintain their existing lifestyle of even make it "better" (ie: less freedom).

Couldn't agree more with that assessment. It's definitely that way here as well. The rural areas here typically vote Conservative (right) and the cites typically vote Liberal (left or some other left-leaning party); we have 3 main parties at play up here and the Green Party is slowly becoming a 4th. All of the parties other than the Conservatives have socialist platforms/agendas and are not gun friendly.

Of course, the bulk of those in poverty are in the cities and they vote exactly as you say...for whomever will give them a hand. They aren't overly concerned about freedom, they're more worried where their next meal is coming from and how they'll pay the rent. They'll sacrifice freedom for tax breaks on their rent, etc, etc. Most business people vote center to right...they've worked hard for their money and don't want interference and burdensome taxation. They also understand that expensive, socialist agendas and initiatives are financed off their backs.

Soros is a tough character to figure out if you don't believe that there are people trying to push us all toward a NWO. If the NWO doesn't exist, as we are all spoon-fed to believe by so many prominent figures around the world telling us we're crazy and "there's no such thing"...then why in the name of all that's holy would anyone want to have anything to do with George Soros??? If you don't believe his own words why would you associate with him?

He comes off like a condescending, mega-know-it-all and by his own admission has no conscience over how he achieved his billions or who he conned, stepped on, ruined and hurt to get it...but we're supposed to believe that now he's this magnanimous, philanthropic titan of righteousness??? Please...I'll pass on this round of the Kool-Aid...thanks.

It's ironic how many rich, old, leftist white men are pulling the strings of power. For decades they have been telling everyone that white conservative men are the enemy, all the while building their wealth and power on the backs of the poor.

Yep! You sure got that right!
