Single stack? They still make those things?

@carbinemike
I'm not sure what the QUESTION is.

What is the best gun?
What do I want to buy next?
What should my spouse shoot?
What is the best value?
What would I like someone to give me for a present?
What gun fell out of my boat?

Those all have different answers.

When I open it for edit the question is there...when I close the edit it's not. It must be a democrat hacker lol. Here you go:

I've shot the Kahr CM9, Glock 43 and I own the Shield 9 (1st gen).

I prefer the shield. I've run four 8 hour defensive classes. Goes from standard marksmanship, clearing malfunctions, shooting behind cover/concealment, handgun retention fighting for control, shooting from on the ground, shooting out of vehicles, night shooting, shooting in a team environment.

The shield and I also ran a speed shooting class where I clocked a 0.96s draw and shoot time and I believe it was a 1.04s double tap from draw with the first shot at 0.99s.

I've run the shield on a few USPSA back up gun competitive courses as well and placed well (top 15-20 competitors).

I'm very familiar with my shield and also dropped in the apex sear with heavy trigger spring to smooth out the trigger press and lighten it up a tad along with ameriglo pro i-dot sights.

For $300 I wouldn't worry about carrying it, replacing it or having to use it in a defensive situation.

I voted other. I have not fired any of them, but I have seen most of them used in our Handgun Carry Classes.
All of them passed.
Did not remember the Sig or Walther
