hello mossberg owners! i am new to this forum but have been
a part of different forums for several years. an active action (IPSC)
shooter, but a total noob when it comes to the shotgun platform.

i just got my shotgun yesterday. a mossberg 500 "tactical" persuader.
not really sure if the world tactical applies to this gun, but i love it! will
be heading out to the range as soon as i can to test it out.

i hope to learn more about my gun and much more about shotguns through
this forum and it's members.

Congrats on your new Pursuader. You certainly have great taste in shotguns. Please take some time to visit our various subforums and make yourself at home. Post up some pics of your firearms when you get a chance and let us know if you have any questions.

Welcome to Mossberg Owners Forum! A Mossberg 500 tactical persuader is a great shotgun (I have one myself which happens to be the first Mossberg I purchased) and an excellent base to customize to your liking.

still debating as to whether i will put a light or some optics
on it as it is mainly for HD. if i can find a limbsaver or something
similar that will fit, i just might get one. thinking of getting a single
point sling too.

have you made any firearm purchase yet? if not, then
prepare yourself for the ten day cooling off period
before you actually get your new purchase. and of
course, the fact that it's almost impossible to get
a CCW. one of the many perks of being in california.
