Photos of My 930 SPX

I had my 930 out this morning to take some photos to aid in troubleshooting the FTF issues I'm having and decided to take a few general photos as well. Enjoy! :D

Pattern at 12 yards with 2 3/4" 00 Buck load. Only one pellet outside of the head. (Ignore the ones off the target. They were from previous shots.)

Oooh, its pretty! So the larger hole is the wad then I'm guessing?

Yup. At that range, the wad does more damage to paper and cardboard than the pellets.

Re: Photos of My 930 SPX

Here is a photo of my 930 home security model with a micro ed dot, Nordic extension, and shell holder which I use as an inexpensive comb riser with foam inserts under the shell holder.

Hopefully I uploaded the two pictures correctly.

New 930 autoloader

Stopped by my local shop and my buddy there informs me that he has a great deal on the 930 I've been eying up. He offered it to me for $525 out the door, I bought it.

It's a M930 18.5" barrel matte finish, pictany rail and ghost rings.

Re: New 930 autoloader

Congratulations on your new Mossberg 930 SPX. For 525 that is a hell of a deal. You certainly are building quite the collection!

Re: New 930 autoloader

Ya, the owner of the store likes me and has given me some good deals. I have another I'll be posting in the "Other firearms" forum..

Re: I want this!

For Under $600 You can't beat a 930SPX and the Sights are awesome!!

Here's a picture of my buddy's target he was sighting in his aimpoint
that target was at 100yrds(well 97 to be exact) I took 2 slug shots off hand rapid Fire!!

With this gun I was doing it again last week with the Winchester 1300, But I didn't get any pics I will next week. It's a little tougher shooting slugs at 100 yards with a bead sight.

That is a sweet looking Mossberg 930 SPX! I want to get that same exact model in the near future.

Me too, but with a standard stock! ;)

Re: My Mossberg 930 SPX

Lovin that beauty!!

Had my 930 Autoloader out yesterday with my Son. Man we had some fun with that. My son is hooked on the 12GA and slugs and for 13 years old and only shooting for a couple weeks now, he was slamming some nice shots out @ 50 yards. The 590A1 is his favorite so far but he hasn't shot the Benelli Supernova yet..

Re: New 930 autoloader

Well, she has been sold. Since I'm liking the 590A1 more than anything and the Saiga 12GA is a fun one and Semi I figured I'd sell the 930, guy I know from the shop took it for $525 with a nice sling I put on it but in the end saved him about $100 after taxes and all on a new one. Mine only had about 100 rounds through it all slugs and it was clean.

I did acquire a nice little H&R Pardner with rifled barrel and decent sights, 24" barrel to boot and it gave my son the feel of the difference in Kick from Semi, Pump as compared to single shot break barrel. Knocked him a good one. Shoots good so we intend to get used to it @50 yards with slugs.
