@Rossignol
Thank you! It took me a while to get my setup to work for me but overall I am very pleased with my build. Thanks for your input, I always love to see what works for others because it may end up working better for me as well
#1 Yes, the sling set up I wanted was a quick release on both ends. Not so much for a tactical advantage but just so I can take it on/off if I wanted to go shooting with my buddies or for putting it in the case. I run it on the left side of my stock and the right side of the barrel so when I pull it tight when I'm not operating it, it lays flat against my chest so I can do things with my hands.
#2 And yes! I can't stress enough that I love my Inforce. It's lightweight but feels tough. It's got all of the features that a tactical HD light should have with constant on, momentary on, strobe, and a thumb guard to make sure you don't accidentally press the power button when trying to keep from being seen.
However this is the best part I love about it! You can disable all the features you don't want. Since I'm not a huge fan of constant on, I disabled it so all that power button does is momentary. No short press for momentary and a long press with click for constant on. This, to me, is crucial if you get in a situation where things get rowdy and you get caveman hands where you have the finger dexterity equivalent of operating the light with your elbows. But it's really easy to switch back to constant on if you want it. Also, you can disable strobe (which is available for momentary and constant depending on how you have it set up). However, it's a little more difficult to switch back to strobe feature (taking both of your hands, not just one) by unscrewing the head of the lamp, holding the power button and screwing it back on. 500 lumens also helps brighten up the scene
Haha I wasn't expecting this thread to be an Inforce WMLx review but here it is!
