New Patriot in .308

Cajun1

Copper BB
Just picked up a new Patriot/Vortex combo in .308 to primarily serve as a deer rifle. My 11 year old son shoots a 100 ATR in .308 and killed his first deer with it this year. This is what led me to the Patriot. I got it sighted in last Saturday and I'm pretty pleased with the results. MOA or better at 100 yards with 150 grain core-lokts. Here's my last 3 shot group of the day.

It's the Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40 that came with the gun as a package. Very clear and it has a BDC reticle as well. I have a Vortex red dot on my AR and have been very pleased with it. They also have an unlimited lifetime warranty.

Got good results from my walnut 270 at 100yds also. Loving this gun and glad I took a chance on a rifle I never wanted before

A very nice rifle. My son has claimed the 30-06 that I bought for myself, so I guess I will have to think about another one, here.

Great shooting, Cajun1 !

The Vortex scopes and Mossberg make a great team add the dies scope and rifle up and still well under $700 for a sub moa rifle. Can’t beat that.
