I know that many people have their favorite camo pattern. I think there's a lot of different patterns available for a lot of different areas.
But when you move out of a region, or even a mile away, your favorite hunting pattern may not blend in as well as it did before.
As many of you know, I really like my camo's. I've hunted in blue jeans and red flannel and an M65 field jacket for many years and many different hunts.
But I have became a bigger fan of camo over the years. I may even be called a camo junky a time or two by a few, but I mainly just appreciate a pattern that works well for how and where I hunt. In honesty, I still wear camo patterns that I wore back in the 90's when I find something I like, I like it.
But a while back, I noticed a new pattern that I had never heard of before, and I loved it at first sight. It has taken some effort, but I have finally found a company that is finally offering water immersion film of it, and tomorrow, I'm going to order several meters of it.
The first gun that I plan to camo with it, is the Turkish MX5 semiauto shotgun since I've been itching to do something with it. My buddy has a smokepole and a 243 bolt action that he's wanting to do, so we should make pretty quick work of the film.
I don't own any rights to any of these next few pictures and I'm not claiming it as my own work because it's not, but I'm going to add them to this post to give you an idea of how the pattern looks, but I'm amazed at the depth and detail and I think that it will fit in really well in a lot of different areas. I mean, rocks are everywhere. At least around here.
Since it has a semi-transparent film, I can easily use a darker or lighter or altogether different base coat color and better match it to my specific area, which I like. I can tune it more to where I live.
