It looks like no war in Iran yet, and allies will be called in for 24/7 support at Hormuz.
Mexico sent 15k Nat Guard troops to the border.
Hmmm....Mexico wouldn't pay for the wall, so now they're paying for 15k soldiers every month.
Interior Enforcement is gearing up to deport over 1 million. I think the "2 week reprieve" was a feint based on the fact that many "nice types" will self-deport in advance of raids, if they think they will be arrested and jailed with roughians. I expect that many expired visa holders are leaving as we speak.

Good morning MOers. We missed the rain again and this morning have clear skies and 75 degrees. The chances of rain are slim for the next week and that is a good thing.
Who knows, maybe Mexico will figure out it's cheaper in the long run to build their own wall. For now the troops will do. It is ironic though, just about 2 months ago Trump was calling the southern border a crisis and the democrats accused him of manufacturing it and the news media spread the democrats crap message. Now all of a sudden when it suits their needs they switch their story and of course the news media does not call them out, but rathers spreads their new message. Why more people don't see it for what it is, a political football for the democrats is beyond me.
Anyways, I just wanted to say good morning and have a great day.

Good morning guys. Well, evening now.
I managed to make it up to the cabin for the first time in over a month to check on it. The small leak in the roof has worsened. I had put a 5 gallon bucket in the floor and it had filled it up to the brim and over the top. So, we plan to put some 5 mil black plastic and a tarp over the roof for the short term while seeing if we can source some scrap roofing tin or something from somewhere.
The roof was damaged many years ago from the top edge of a falling pine tree hit it and that repair is obviously past its' prime. All this was due to the stupid foreign wooly adelgid bugs that came in and wiped out nearly every pine tree on the entire southern side of the mountain.

I was going to run over to Tenkiller* yesterday to see if I could catch a Trout below the dam and maybe a Smallmouth up on the lake but couldn`t bring myself to drive through that devastation in order to have fun.....

Good morning fellas. Another beauty of a morning here. Blue skies and 75 to start the day. We are having normal weather now, 90s daytime highs and lows at night in the low 70s. That's perfect to me.

Seems like garages, outbuildings and basements and attics and spare rooms attract junk.
We recently cleaned out our basement and had a HUGE yard sale. Wife made enough $$ to pay for a small vacation and for the cabin. And we were selling stuff CHEAP too so I wouldn't have to bring it back home.
I think we took off about 4 truck loads of stuff.

Howdy fellas. Man I need to have a garage sale myself. Funny how things accumulate that one never uses but ya hate let go. You know, just in case after 11 years ya might need it. I am so guilty.

I did not watch the first Democrat debate, but last night I tuned in the second. I'm not quite sure what to think. Open borders, free college, Medicare for anyone in the country whether they are a citizen or not. Forgive student loans. Do away with all fossil fuels, we only have 12 years to do that.
Oh, and take away guns, and according to Kamala Harris, if congress won't do it then she would just use an executive order. Never mind that thing called the 2nd amendment.
They'll pay for all of this by raising corporate taxes and taxing the wealthy. Seems to me theses are the very ones that create jobs in the first place.

Then when everybody else is yelling at once, she suddenly becomes the Church Lady?
This woman is a fake as a Tubman 20.
She yelled in Biden's ear until he just dialed her out in total pain. Yikes!
The rest of them spoke Spanish to their loved ones, and insulted every white male American.

Well I finally got back to my aquarium stand today and I made a lot of expensive hardwood into big piles of sawdust.
The parts are coming out really good however because I spent a lot of time on the setup and I bought a brand new saw blade.

We didn't go to the lake this weekend as next weekend will be longer than usual. We'll go up on Wednesday and stay through Sunday. They do have a great fireworks show on the 4th, usually with a flyby of F-16s from the Oklahoma ANG. That will be more than enough time there. The good part of that is I keep the old Kawasaki there so a ride or two will definitely be in the plans.
