Yes - A life time owner of Mossberg shotguns ended a few months ago. Like the title of this thread says, I now own a "Remington TAC-14". It came up for sale on a local gun board, NIB, never shot $250 (Included a brace and a variety of ammo). I couldn't resist.

I still have an will not sell my 930. Its is still a favorite, but this little guy shoots ok !

Congratulations.

What else did you expect? We're a bunch of gun guys.

If I ever come up on a used, reasonably priced Tac-13 I'll be a proud Remington owner too.

Congrats on the new toy.

The Remington is pretty nice but it maybe needs a door breacher on the muzzle like my 500.

I do like the grip arrangement.

Congratulations.

I considered getting a Remington TAC-14 myself, but ultimately choose the Mossberg 590 Shockwave due to the following features:

  • Ambidextrous Safety
  • Bolt Release Location
  • Higher Magazine Capacity
  • Cerakote Finish (Option)
  • Heavy Walled Barrel
  • Drilled and Tapped Receiver
  • Anti-Jam Shell Elevator

Just too many advantages to overlook, IMO. Still, there's nothing wrong with the Remington TAC-14 and I've see it on sale for prices well below that of the Shockwave.
