Barnes, 70 grain. Tsx or Ttsx. Need as much mass as you can get, and ability to retain it once it makes contact.

Yeah, the Barnes copper bullets expand a lot, and dump all the energy into the target. Something very beneficial when you have a fast moving light bullet that normally would either pass through or fragment into powder.

Also, try to put it into the boiler room. Or if you have the ability, the brain. But the boiler room is a larger target and easier to hit. Especially at close ranges.
 
Check the 70-gr copper TSX for accuracy from your rifle. It weighs what it does but is much longer than a 70-gr jacketed bullet with a lead core. Rifling twist is based on bullet length not bullet weight. Your 1:9 will probably work but you need to check.

They are wonderful hunting bullets
