183 restore

New member here, thanks. I have a few mossbergs and this 183 bolt action 410 I've had for 35 years. I finally got around to refinishing it and am pleased with how it turned out. It's a sweet old shotgun that has bagged a few squirrels for me.

Very nice looking gun. You did a good job getting it fixed back up. I have been working on an ongoing 12 gauge bolt action restoration project myself and still have more to go.

Thanks fellas. I was really pleased with the way it turned out. I'm starting to learn a few things. I refinished an old Iver Johnson single shot that belonged to my Grandfather several years ago and may redo it now that I have a few projects under my belt. I also have a Maverick88 that I picked up a couple of year ago as a project. I may start on it next.

Nice job. My granddaughter and I refinished a 183b a couple of years ago. The hardest part was finding some of the parts that my brother in law had put in a coffee can and forgot where he put it.
