Parkerizing color

Does anyone know what paint "color code" would match the grey parkerizing on a Mossberg 590 ?

I’ve used this on an antique motorcycle. It’s just a shade lighter. I will take a picture when I get home. Use the Dark Parkerizing Gray #083-002-812MB

This is a Shockwave with a 590A1 heat shield. The spokes were painted 16 years ago.

If you buy some, I highly suggest picking up the spare nozzles and the tube clean out nozzle. It does tend to stop up the nozzle. Also, warm up the paint/can before use. Set it out in the sun or put it if front of a heater.

Or just move to the desert like I did LOL!

It's much easier to paint here than when I lived in the great Frozen Northland.

The texture that you get on that kind of paint has a lot to do with how warm the metal is when you apply it.

If you test shoot some on metal at different temperatures you will see what I mean.
