NY & NJ: Self-defense insurance further restricted

Another Self-defense “insurance” is BANNED!
By Attorney Andrew Branca / December 12, 2019

Yet another great self-defense "insurance" business has been banished by New York and New Jersey bureaucrats, with other states looking to do the same soon. This affects us all and is important to you whether you live in one of those states or not.

Here’s why:

CCW Safe, a long-time Law of Self Defense partner, has been compelled to stop offering membership plans in New York and New Jersey, and also won't be able to cover members from other states who defend themselves in New York and New Jersey. Other states may also follow suit, putting your access to an affordable defense in jeopardy.

Until now, CCW Safe has been one of the last of these programs still providing coverage in all 50 states. Sadly, now even they are being forced to step back from states that falsely describe these perfectly legitimate programs as "murder insurance." CCW Safe competitor USCCA has also been compelled to exit these states, and of course these kinds of anti-self-defense efforts contributed to the utter demise of the NRA's Carry Guard Program.

Worse, it seems more likely that additional states will prohibit such programs than it does that states like New York and New Jersey will reverse their prohibitions.

You carry a gun so you're hard to kill.
Know the law so you're hard to convict.

Virginia officials are looking to try to follow the gun ban playbook on steroids but "we the people" are gearing up to fight it.

Firstly, this LINK is a liberally-biased accounting from The Trace, a propagandistic site funded by a whole slew of loathsome organizations (first pic) and acquiring "data" from equally loathsome sources (second pic). It briefly describes the ending of the insurance program that was called Carry Guard by the NRA. You can bet TT will be a recipient of "gun violence" funding in the most recent spending bill...

Secondly, the ONLY link I found worthy of reviewing was in another article about an interview of Wayne LaPierre given just today (December 18) to the NYT. You can find it at this LINK but I will post a pdf of it once I have read it...

It should go without saying that NONE of the organizations/media outlets below is worthy of your support...
