I email them SBE when they will have stock , yet no apparent date yet but they said in future, and i also ask mossberg if i can purchase a piston from 940 they said check back in the end of the year might start that month and they knew my idea of using it on 930 they told me fitting it on 930 will not work, they are unsure, for me i believe its same . Because the 940 been out now and the replacement parts still not, they know sales of 940 will be slow if gas piston is fitted and work properly what u guys think??
Good deal! The main advantage to the SBE piston is doing away with the gas rings. The NiBos are much better (than original blued stock), but still benefit from a dunk in parts cleaner every so often.Actually I had the OR3GUN competition combo even before I cleared the 10 day waiting period. Steve isn't making any predictions about when he'll have the new pistons machined when I asked a few weeks ago - back around January he posted a picture of them after heat treatment but before the final machining. So they're kind of stalled in the final stretch.
My JM Pro already has the NiBo coated piston, so between the MST and the coated piston, it should run pretty well. I'm just brainstorming options.
