I think (hope) a lot more people will soon be more concerned about little things like liberty and freedom. Once they are gone, well I don't want to think of that.

Agree with you. Unfortunately, many are overcome with the "Fog of Virus"

I'm constantly amazed at how people are nonsholant about their country, their liberty and their loss of personal freedoms.

Herd mentality has infected the masses!

The socialists want everything you have! Except your job!

Hopefully America will wake up from this nightmare.

Young adults do not oppose intrusive big tech and limitations on freedoms because they have never known any different. The progressive influence on them via schools, social media etc. is truly apparent now.

Why anyone older than a millenial us not outraged at the state of things baffles me.

Mike, while I agree with you concerning today's young adults, it begs the question - Where are or were their parents?

Did they totally ignore their parental responsibilities?

To me, their parents are the ones who should take responsibility for their sorry upbringing!

We seem to have a "me" generation who believes their entitled to everything in life without sacrifice or hard work!

Guess most of us where luck to endure the hardships of growing up in a different time and learning to take responsibility for ourselves vice relying on the government to tell us what to do and when to do it.

Regards

My generation is at fault for letting social media and cartoon network babysit the kids, giving them participation trophies and in general being to self absorbed to see what was happening.

The this is less true the more rural you go and more true the closer you get to cities (i.e. technology and amenities). There are exceptions to each but that's my take. I know there are lots of other factors but this is not the thread to dive down that rabbit hole.

My wife has gone Cruella De Vil in the hair dept since COVID closed the salon...

Now, I sort of expect this from my granddaughters. But when my 64-year-old wife finds it funny to clump around the house in my new big shoes wearing kitty cat pants, I remember why I married her.
