NFA Talk SE2EP11 Trudeau's 750M+ Gun Grab

Forgive me for being naive, but I did not realize Canada had a problem with firearms. Perhaps the U.S. media does not talk about gun violence in Canada, or, perhaps gun violence is not the problem Trudeau makes it out to be.

Or, could it be that he knows the government has to confiscate legally obtained firearms, from law abiding citizens, in order to implement his draconian measures against the citizens of Canada?

Canada and the USA Do not have a "gun violence" problem, we have a disease of "soft on crime" and "gang/criminal organizations" problems. Peaceful Law abiding citizens are not out "gang banging" with the likes of the Riff Raff.

Liberals Ignore Violent Criminals but Obsess Over Licensed Gun Owners

Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government remains laser-focused on confiscating legally-owned guns from licensed firearm owners, despite the never-ending stream of evidence that violent criminals and their gangs are responsible for these atrocities.

As the list of murders and attempted murders for March 2022 highlights, Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government continues to ignore the criminal misuse of illegal guns.

  1. On March 2nd, a man in his 20s was found murdered in Mississauga. Police have no suspects.https://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=001s5L...zIi4xMVjFna-t2S91LOAGYhp7e5AlcUUB36cIupmw6A==
[*]On March 3rd, 19-year-old Jahleel Mckoy was shot and killed in Brampton. Police have no suspects.[ii]
[*]On March 3rd, police identified 22-year-old Akhir Haywood as the murder victim found in Scarborough, Ontario. Two suspects were apprehended.[iii]
[*]On March 6th, a drive-by shooting in Durham Region sent one person to hospital in unknown condition. Police have no suspects.[iv]
[*]On March 7th, a 39-year-old man was shot in the head in Hamilton. He died in hospital. Police have no suspects.[v]
[*]On March 8th, 39-year-old Shane Grenier was found murdered in Hamilton. Police have no suspects.[vi]
[*]On March 12th, 34-year-old Milad Rahimi was murdered in North Vancouver, BC. Police have no suspects.[vii]
[*]On March 13th, a man was found in critical condition after being shot in Toronto. Police have no suspects.[viii]
[*]On March 16th, a 32-year-old man was shot and found in critical condition in Montreal’s Saint-Henri neighbourhood. Police have no suspects.[ix]
[*]On March 18th, 25-year-old Treyvhon Alrick Bradshaw was found shot to death in Halifax. Police have no suspects.[x]
[*]On March 19th, two men, one aged 35-40 and the other 58, were found murdered in Quebec City’s Saint-Roch neighbourhood. Police have no suspects.[xi]
[*]On March 21st, Calgary police found a man shot to death in the driver’s seat of a vehicle stopped at the intersection of 16th Avenue N.W. and Fourth Street N.W. Police have no suspects.[xii]
[*]On March 21st, one man was found with gunshot wounds near Brucefield, Ont. He was transported to hospital in serious but stable condition. Police say this was a targeted shooting and “there is no evidence to suspect there is any [further] threat to public safety.” They have two suspects in custody. [xiii]
[*]On March 21st, 41-year-old Chad Colivas was shot and killed in Abbotsford, BC. Police have no suspects.[xiv]

Did you notice the trend? In almost every case, police have no suspects. This is not to blame police, but to point out violent criminals are shooting and killing people with no concern they will be apprehended.

Despite having little data to go on, Statistics Canada identified 39% of shooting murders as gang-related – just one more fact Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government ignores.[xv]

As CSSA has also long reported, Canada’s Firearm Prohibition Order system is broken.

Since January 1st, 2022, 218 repeat offenders who were arrested and charged for committing other crimes, primarily drug trafficking, were also charged with 531 counts of breaching an existing Firearm Prohibition Order.[xvi]

The only reason these 218 Firearm Prohibition Order violators were charged at all is because they came to the attention of the police for other crimes they committed.

And these are only the individuals who were reported in the news. Statistics Canada data indicates the actual number is at least double this total.

Justin Trudeau’s government, for reasons we do not comprehend, has no desire to tackle the serious problem of violent criminals who use illegal guns.

Lowering Criminal Code penalties for drug trafficking and illegal firearm offences only emboldens these violent, repeat offenders.

When asked about criminals who use illegal guns or the stupidity of confiscating legally-owned guns from licensed firearm owners, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino trots out the same old tired talking points.

He says Liberals will continue to deliver “responsible and strong gun control to protect our communities.”

He insists the Firearm Confiscation Compensation Program is “an essential tool” to get firearms “which have no business in our communities — because they only have one purpose, which is to kill people — off our streets. And that's our commitment and we're going to make good on it.”[xvii]

"Soft on crime" legislation

Bill C-5 that eliminates a number of firearms offenses and the mandatory prison times, such as robbery with a firearm, discharging a firearm with intent to harm, and weapons trafficking. How will this stop gangs/criminal organizations

Complete ignorance of LE Union heads Cheifs of Police and ignoring border security, who state legal firearm owners are not the issue. (1%)

The Canadian government recently held committee meetings on "gangs, guns, and border", all levels of LE and CBSA stated that "law abiding firearm owners are not the problem", "less than 1% of box cars get inspected by CBSA when they cross into Canada"

Yeah we have crime problems not gun problems. It's sad but it's always the low hanging fruit that gets picked off first. Then they say "See? We did something."

Trudolph is a Tyrant, period.

He talks about reconciliation with natives then does this

Loves China's dictatorship

An embarrassment on the world stage

Doesn’t think about monetary policy

Just like the Liberal controlled media in Canada, now that "C'mon man, give a guy a chance" is president the Canadian MSM doesn’t air any of the disasters that Brandon has created, you name them they hide it. Unlike when the "hit job" that was ordered on MAGA 5 mins after his presidency initiated by Nancy "pill popper" Pelosi.

Have you seen the news?

The Halifax Examiner has documents that show that "RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki 'made a promise' to Public Safety Minister Bill Blair and the Prime Minister’s Office to leverage the mass murders of April 18/19, 2020 to get their gun control law passed."

We all expected this may have been the case, but this sure looks like proof that they tried to jeopardize and leverage a mass-murder investigation to pass their preferred nonsensical and draconian firearm policy. (That once again only sought to target law-abiding gun owners.)

This might be their dirtiest deal ever -- and that's saying something.

RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki tried to ‘jeopardize’ mass murder investigation to advance Trudeau’s gun control efforts

RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki “made a promise” to Public Safety Minister Bill Blair and the Prime Minister’s Office to leverage the mass murders of April 18/19, 2020 to get a gun control law passed.

A week after the murders, Lucki pressured RCMP in Nova Scotia to release details of the weapons used by the killer. But RCMP commanders in Nova Scotia refused to release such details, saying doing so would threaten their investigation into the murders.

The Trudeau government’s gun control objectives were spelled out in an order in council issued in May 2020, and were encapsulated in Bill C-21, which was tabled last month, but the concern in April 2020 was the extent to which politics threatened to interfere with a cross-border police investigation into how the killer managed to obtain and smuggle into Canada four illegal guns used to commit many of the 22 murders.

The RCMP subsequently learned the killer paid a man named Neil Gallivan to purchase one assault-style rifle at a 2019 gun show in Houlton, Maine. The killer also obtained two illegal handguns from a close friend and collector named Sean Conlogue.

No charges have been laid against either Gallivan or Conlogue, and it’s still unclear why.

Court Win: Judge Orders Details of RCMP’s ‘Nullifications,’ Says They Are Revocations

3 Nov 2022

Developing story. Please check back as we add info and context.
TheGunBlog.ca — Canadian gun owners won a major victory in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice today, advancing their fight against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s mass criminalizations and confiscations begun in May 2020.

Disclosure Order

Justice Antonio Skarica of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice ordered details of the RCMP’s unprecedented and unheard of “nullifications” of firearm-registration certificates in 2020, and equated them to revocations.
The Trudeau administration and his allies in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police opposed the judge’s findings. They may appeal the decision.

Why It Matters

  • Today’s ruling is the second case gun owners have won in higher courts, compared to zero for Trudeau.
  • It expands the type of evidence that a provincial judge may order from the government in future hearings under Section 74 of the federal Firearms Act.
  • The victory was won by five gun owners who represented themselves in court without a lawyer.

Context

  • Trudeau’s governing Liberal Party and the RCMP have so far refused to disclose details of their “nullifications,” both in court and in responding to questions from TheGunBlog.ca
  • The RCMP invented the tactic to help Trudeau confiscate popular rifles and shotguns from hundreds of thousands of government-licensed owners.
  • Trudeau has no idea or plan for how to execute his crackdown. He failed to complete it by his April 2022 deadline and will probably fail again.
The Department of Justice in Ottawa didn’t respond immediately to our e-mail inviting a comment on today’s ruling.

Judge’s Disclosure Order

“The Crown is to provide disclosure relevant to the scripts used to identify the respondents’ firearms which is to include who created the scripts, when they were created, who was involved directly or indirectly in writing the scripts, who was consulted and the involvement of the Registrar in creating the scripts and the involvement of the Registrar in the preparation and dissemination of the July 20, 2020 letters the respondents received from the Registrar.” (Paragraph 50)

Judge Says ‘Nullification’ Is Revocation

“Accordingly, the Registrar, by “nullifying” and making registration certificates “no longer valid”, has revoked the registration certificates listed in the July 20, 2020 letters sent to the respondents: Stark at para 70.” (Paragraph 23) See link at top of page.

“The Crown…” LOL

Well “the Crown” needs to review the Magna Carta and subsequent docs to find out how they’re stepping on their own dick.
The "Crown"(Royal Family) needs to be put to the curb, Canadian tax payers could keep the $70 million for the "privilages" we receive from them and the toilet paper Charter of Rights and Freedoms that replaced the British NA Act.

Heck, could you guys invade us that would be the best possible solution. I would be more than willing to surrender.

My government is more concerned with legal law abiding firearms, than building the military to protect the Arctic from China/Russia, If either wanted they could just walk right in, Canada doesn't even have a F "Air Defense System". Think about that, FFS!
