7.62 x 51 out of my ATR

hi all,

new to the forum, just jailed up my night train 2!

but quick question, is our rifle able to chamber and shoot 7.62 x 51 surplus out of it?

just wondering since its a 308 win if its able to do so, from my understanding the 7/62 isnt as hot of a load but the casing thickness is thicker due to having to withstand more abuse through a semi auto firearm.

thanks for the tips and any advice to do to her when i pick her up would be great !

That’s the way I understand it. If your chamber is on the tight side it might not chamber. If it does chamber you might have a hard extraction.
