How did you hear about or find MossbergOwners.com??

Yup, def happy to have you all and we definitely strive for drama free! ;)

Our hope is that Mossberg Owners and the other owners sites can be place where all levels of experience are welcome and even the least knowledgable among can ask questions without fear of being totally ridiculed and excoriated from the forum. We just arent like that nor do we tolerate and will quickly put an end to it.

Lets face it, we all started somewhere, and we can all still learn. Is it not more beneficial if we can ask question and get solid and honest answers that increase our own knowledge? It allows us to better enjoy our firearms if we can skip the BS and get the info we need... I know the feeling of having questions because I dont know what people are talking about and dont understand the terminology being used but not wanting to ask because I know how the folks on the forum will react to "nOOb" questions.

You wont get that from me, nor will you get that from any of the other staff or members! ;)

We arent the biggest forum, but we're growing constantly and we continue to hear the same sorta thing, that MO "is a great place with great folks" and that the atmosphere is very "laid back". We are sincerely grateful for our membership and will always do what we can to preserve what we have here for all of you!!!

Rossignol, out.

I found the site while researching which sidesaddle to get for my new 5003R. I discovered there is sometimes an issue with the forearm sliding all the way back if a six shell sidesaddle is used. This seems like a place with some intelligent discussion and being a new shotgun owner I hope to learn much from you all.

Glad to have you join up kwizzer!

I posted a solution to the Tacstar side saddle issue in your new member thread. Let me know if you have any questions...

I've had Mossberg 500 and 590's for years and love them! I recently bought a 100ATR in .308 Win and was researching putting on a Harris bipod when I found this group.

Welcome aboard Sir,

Glad you made your way here. Jump in on the conversation and we'll see you around...

Found the site via a Youtube review video of an ATI stock. Really enjoying the site so far compiling research, and hopefully my wife follows through with picking me up a 500 or Mav 88 for my bday next month!

Welcome aboard and good luck getting your birthday shotgun! Start leaving your computer on with Mossberg Owners on the screen. Hints never hurt... :D

Good idea! Most of my time spent looking is at work however ;) but I am definetly doing everything I can to dish out the hints! We have a two year old son, so safety has been her biggest concern of getting one. Most of my research lately has consisted of locking/safety devices for the SG's to ease her mind a bit.

Have you considered something like an under-the-bed safe? It'd keep your weapon secured and out of the way yet still at the ready for quick use if needed...

That would be a great option however we don't currently have a bed frame lol. Also on a pretty tight budget right now. Here are some of the ones I've been looking at: http://www.gunvault.com/gun-locks-breechvault-bv01.html

Pretty much the same as most others. However, I generally use the Yahoo search engine before Google. Take care. Tom Worthington.
