I had to have one...

So I'm selling my 930 spx and bought this 10days ago... Being in Komifornia ... you have to wait 10days before getting your gun out of DROS.

But as soon as I got it ... I changed out parts already ...

I swapped over my Choate Pistol Grip ( I cant wait for the Mesa Unit), the 3XL End Cap from Nordic Components, Nordic Pineapple Charging Handle, and S&J Followere... Enough of the chit chat heres the gun porn ...

with the 3xl end cap ... you could get 10rds of 2 3/4 in the tube

I found a issue today with my JM Pro magazine tube. While doing a deep clean and oiling.

The inlet or lip to the stainless tube ( where the main tube and Nordic extended tube met) was ever so slightly bend. Which caused my follower to hung up right where the nordic extended tube and main tube meet.

So to fix it I took out my gunsmith brass hammer and tapped it. Till it was sort of out of the way. But the follower was still getting hung up. So I got my dremel with a sanding bit and polished the lip free and clear. Now she manually cycles clean and smooth with 10rds in the tube.

Next upgrade is going to be a TruLock extended Improved Cylinder Choke. To protect my extended end cap.

Only thing left to do is order another TruLock Choke ... I want a MOD choke ... I need to have the lifter welded and have the load port opened up alittle bit more...

this is what I want to have done

welding the lifter will save your thumb from any major injuries when speed loading a shotgun... Anything from weak hand load, load 2 weak hand, twins load, strong hand load techniques the lifter will either cut up your thumb or worst get caught and dislocate it...

The larger load port will help facilitate a better loading method like the load 2

ok heres M24Shooters pics of the factory loading port size and lifter:

heres a widened/opened up load port and welded lifter:

your pump action 590 could use this mod to facilitate faster reloads... Any shotgun would benefit to this modification.

Rip I built the cousin of your pro..I started out with a turkey then added the Choate Mark 5 pg stock but I went with the Nordic MXT plus 6 instead of the xxl cap.A Carlsons tatical choke tube extends past the mag tube by a 1/4".You can mod a large Limbsaver grind to fit pad on the Choate if you get tired of that big hard square pad.I would have started with the JM but in 2009 it wasn't out yet neither could you find a turkey with a pg stock.Today I installed a set of Tru Glo's for long range slug use.Not good for 3 gun but for hunting I think it's the best except for maybe a red dot.
