chassis systems are already slim for the MVP; if Mossberg customer service has been dropping the ball, i don't want to spend the time sending firearms to them multiple times to correct an issue.
luckily the 5.56mm FLEX MVP i got works great; the 1:9 twist loves .223 Fiocchi 55gr and can easily...
looking at MDT's website, they've gone to a "Gen 2" and an "XL" version, both which don't have an option for a Mossberg MVP.

in addition, i was excited when i saw Optics Planet carrying the MDT LSS chassis for the 308 MVP since you can easily...
at this point, it's prob better to get an AR stock to swap it out instead. Note that milspec stocks might actually not work! i tried to put my B5 Bravo Stock on it just to see what happens and it had issues fitting...
thanks, seems like Mossberg won't be porting any of their barrels, including the 835 and 535. curious if any recent owners of either models with advertised ported barrels can chime in.
i bought it more for a nice cosmetic feature...reading up about it it's not that necessary for my uses. just...
Just got this back from the manufacturer....no more ported barrels from Mossberg!
Thank you for your email. Unfortunately we no longer port any of our barrels at all and no longer have the mechanisms in which to port. If you provide me with the serial number of the firearm I can verify which...
Tombstone Tactical out of AZ, shotty shipped from Louisiana. already emailed them and Mossberg; highly doubt barrel was swapped out prior to shipping as the Flex 500 comes in its own REALLY NICE carrying bag.
what made it more confusing was the #50124's website pic vs the "high res download"...
Purchased new FLEX 500 Combo Waterfowl/Security #55117 and noticed 28" barrel did not have porting. attached link below shows that longer barrel has multiple holes for porting:

it seems that the base shotgun i received was...
YES! gotta love Mossberg owners!
A bit over my initial $30 estimate with "sale" price at $42, the other combos are still a great deal for someone that just got a Combo 500 non-FLEX.
Looking back, i bought a Ergo Forend w/ rails at the end of 2013 for $53 along with a $30 slide tube to make it...

Seems to make sense why Mossberg is selling the flex adapter seperately. Marines recon/MP/response teams have 500/590s but would get replaced by Benelli's. FLEX'ing the shottys will give...

Flex adapter, 6 position stock & large regular stock starting at $95 (shipping from Canton, GA). It would be about the same price i'd pay for what I mentioned above provided the adapter will come in at $30.
no worries! i've been tracking this thread, main curiosity is the cost of the kit. March/April 2017 is a lot sooner now than back in January.
Here's what i can deduce from Slickguns:
$335-$400 for MOSSBERG FLEX 500 (UPC #015813501217...
curious, was he more exact on the timeframe? don't see the FLEX kit on their website, (#96024 from best i can tell in the video) and it's been more than "next month" since 1/14/2017.
Can you see if you can ping him again to get a better sense of Q2/Q3 release? I'm eyeing a #27977 Tan MVP Flex...
