    Thanks, John A.!! I can do that. 5 shot magazine and 28" standard barrel for the range, and the longer magazine and shorter barrel for home defense.

    I have just bought my first shotgun, a Mossberg 500 Model #50579 (7+1) in 12 Gauge. I just now found out that none of the ranges will let a 20" barrel shoot skeet.
