I have one of the first of the Mossy carryhandle tacts that was introduced into Canada On the side it says " MOSSBERG INTERNATIONAL 702 PLINKSTER " and it came with a 10rd mag only My flat-top says " MOSSBERG INT'L 715T " Never-the-less , inside is a standard 702 plinkster receiver/barrel ...

The buffer tube comes out but it's bolted in place. It comes off when the rifle is taken down for cleaning Is the MOE tube the same diameter as the mossberg's ?

Re: Tactical Sling I seen photos , somewhere , where the fella used the tube bolt and rigged up his own swivel for a one point sling. Theres also a velcro strap with a swivel that goes around the tube. I'll see if I can find some references.
