Re: 715T hanguard question
you can buy the 715t in a flat top version that just has a rail up there and no handle, then you can just add whatever you like!
One thing that helped my 25rd mag, was that I took it apart. and used JB weld to fix the spring permanently to the red plastic piece....that has mad a world of difference on my mags.
the 10 rd mag works flawlessly in these guys. the 25 rd mag can be problematic, but if you have some patience. with a little tinkering, I have got two bad working mags to fully function.
It shoots great I love the rifle, took a while to get the 25 rd mag it came with to work correctly, but now that ive taken it apart, glued the spring to the red plastic piece and did a little filing, everything seems to work very well.
Re: How do you store your 22LR ammo??
I havent tried a soda bottle thats a great idea, how difficult is it to get the ammo out once its stuff in there??
If your talking about mine, fine....I like it where its at....I have thought about trying to make it a little higher, but as it sits now, I am very comfortable with it
Re: How do you store your 22LR ammo??
yeah there is no doubt about being able to store more by dumping it in loosely. My problem with having it lose in the ammo can, is in a SHTF scenario, If I need make a quick run into town or to find other supplies, I dont want to half to fill my pockets...
Re: First plinkster
congrats, its a great gun....my first recommendation is to take it apart and clean it first....the grease they use from factory is very think and will get dirty very fast.
Re: How do you store your 22LR ammo??
thats my thinking as well, haveing a full ammo box full of shells just clinking together against one another just cant be that good....
How do you store your 22LR ammo??
I dont have a ton of ammo yet, But I've got a decent start i think. I'm a little bit torn on how to store it for a SHTF type of situation. I do believe you should use some type of an ammo can, but other than that, I'm torn on weather to keep them in there...
