For me, I used both factory follower and S&J follower.

I could not get an extra shell of 00 Buck or slug (2&3/4) into my Shockwave using the S&J +1 extension. I used the provided spring and the factory spring, no luck. Tried several different types of ammunition recently.

I went with a Vang Comp oversized safety. It is basicly just a little taller and has slightly more aggresive ridges on top. I wanted to keep the overall same style as the factory safety but with a little more area to it to grab hold of. It works perfectly for me. A lot more "positive" engagement...
