Thanks. The bullet hit the point of the near shoulder and obliterated it, then got the top of the heart and the bottom of the lungs before exiting out the back half of the rib cage. The buck plowed dirt for maybe 20 yards before giving up. I used a Winchester 150 gr. Deer Season Extreme.

With American Eagle 240's, yes. I shoot the CCI Blazer Aluminum cased 240's and it is not as bad. The Hogue Tamer grip really does work well too.

You also might try some of the Mini Shells made by Federal and Aguila. With the OPSol Mini Clip, they will reliably feed. They have much less recoil and still pack a good punch at house distances. Well, true to form, I have made some mods. Trijicon HD night sights, Streamlight TLR6 WML, OC Customs flat faced trigger, Vickers Tactical slide release, Ghost Inc. Grip Plug, Crux Ordnance magazine release. I have been EDCing this gun now for awhile with 2 spare mags. Pretty happy with it.
