this is to help all mossberg owners who want a limb saver precision fit recoil pad on a 590 wood stock,the limbsaver part # 10002 ''500 c youth'' I stumbled upon this info on accident at my local gunshop,he had one that I matched up physically to my recoil pad,bought the pistol grip as a victory bonus.

Nice - that pistol grip from Mossberg is brutal though being hard plastic, the Hogue Tamer does make a huge difference -

I would love to get a 500 Retrograde but I need to chop off about 2" of stock for it to be comfortable for me - and then I'd need a grind to fit
