590A1 trigger group modification

Chemi97

Who can recommend a gunsmith that will modify the trigger group of a 590A1 so it will fire with the trigger depressed while the pump is cycled. It would function like an old trench gun? Is this modification even possible or is it just limited to older style shotguns and pump 22 rifles?

Sorry Chemi97. I guess no one has heard of a mod like that for the 590A1. But didn't want you to think that we werent paying attention. Have you checked and know for a fact that a mod like that can even be made legally? Have a great day.

The Mossbergs, and pretty much every other shotgun for some decades, have a disconnector that prevents slam firing. You may be able to find a gunsmith that will do some kind of modification for you. But that involves altering the design of the FCG, and not many people are willing to do something like that. It will also completely void your warranty, and could result in an unsafe firearm.
