930 as shipped...

I bought a 930 Waterfowl edition. Used but appeared to have never been shot. Gun shop said it may have been a display/show gun.

Zero issues with std barrel (outside of one failure due to not cleaning it when I got it)
Installed SPX barrel for a period of time - Zero issues.
Installed a 18.5" security barrel for a period of time - Zero issues.

No other mods other than charging handle.

I would tend to agree that it seems like the SPX models go through a different process or something. Seems crazy but the signs point there.

I have a 85360 SPX, born on 06/16/2014, and have had zero issues. Not much grease, but nicely lubed from the factory. The forend was real tight at first, having to use a rubber mallet to remove it the first few times.
