    Hello

Managed to score some 12ga Remington and Winchester #1, 12 pellet Buck loads to test.

    Win XB121
    REM 12B1

    Again, shooting a Mossberg 930 SPX 18” at 7 yards and 14 yards. (21’ and 42’)
Velocity and ambient temp on the targets.
Skyscreens centered 10’ from muzzle. Oehler model 33 chronograph.
The bottom circle is 12 “.

The Remington load was a bit faster than the Winchester.

Heck of a good report. Good job.

Yes, the Win was pretty anemic.

If you ever suppress the shotgun, the Winchester will be a lot more quiet.

I doubt that anyone would scoff at that many pellets finding their target and traveling faster than 38 special velocity if you were to have to use them.

But I see the benefit of faster and more penetration.

Valid point.. But I would not want to be downrange of either one!

Sixteen .30 caliber pellets coming at you at 1175 fps is nothing to scoff at.
