Hey y’all, just thought I’d show what I did to improve (for me) a standard A2 pistol grip. I cut off the finger nub and the bottom piece that’s supposed to help you from dropping it. With them on there my hand didn’t fit the grip all that well but now it fits quite nicely.

That looks like it was made that way. Nicely done.

    Thanks man.
Here’s the finished product with a few more coats of paint. That was just kinda a mock up earlier.

PS: It’s 100% better. It feels and handles great. I won’t be spending any money on an aftermarket one.

Did something similar to one of my many A2 grips. Eventually a Hogue will go in. Ground the finger nub off but kept the lower nub. Quick stipple with an electric engraver. Looks fair but feels good! :)

    I dig it.
I hadn’t gotten a chance to shoot mine yet. But just holding it the handle feels much improved. If it still feels well shooting I’m gonna rock it ‘til the wheels fall of I think. I wish it was a little thicker, but it’s not too bad.
    That’s what she said..

THIS is the Hogue I like... $30 retail, $20ish on sale.

How about a homemade storage compartment?
I used a plug that keeps debris out of hoses while they are being stored. Fits like a glove.
