sadly, I am lacking right now, so I wont embarass my self. Ok I will.

only about 20 rounds rifled slugs,
and 20 rounds Federal Tac 00 Buck plated with flitecontrol
50 rounds birdshot, split between 7 1/2 and #8... which is for birds and playing around.

Several 25-lb bags of magnum shot in various sizes

    Somewhere around 2000 209 Primers
Somewhere around 4000 small rifle primers
At least 3500 small pistol primers
Guessing maybe 4000 large pistol primers
Not that many large rifle primers, maybe 600
    Over 25-lbs of various powders
How many cast bullets I can make from two big buckets of wheel weights?
Oh, and probably several thousand jacketed bullets for rifle and pistol.

    It's just a hobby.....

I have some factory ammo too, but the numbers are not very impressive. I bought 50-rds of Federal Low recoil Tru-Ball slugs last week, and a box of 20 Federal 147-gr Hydra Shoks. Somewhere stashed back I know I have 500 rounds of Wolf 7.62x39 and a bunch of M193 Lake City but I don't feel like digging for them. :)

Minus about 3 or 4 boxes of the winchester and add some Federal Slugs and 00 Buck. In a handy "Zombie Ready" bail out bag :)

Nice Jonezy! It looks heavy, lol! I have been carryin in my pack about 25 to 50 rounds of birdshot, another 25 to 50 rounds for the .410, and another 30 to 40 various rounds of slugs and buckshot along with a 12 ga. in the scabbard when we go shooting. And I just added 100 rounds of .45 ACP FMJ. That bag gets old fast.

Just thinkin off handed for a sec. If the zombie apocalypse occurs, could we dump our ammo and run faster! lol!

Well I hadn't planned on posting in this thread, but after tonight I have to!

A buddy of mine sold his AR a long time ago and has been telling me for the longest time to come pick up some extra ammo he had laying around. Well tonight I finally got around to getting it and he wasn't joking...

That's over 1000 rounds of IMI M855 5.56mm and a few boxes of Q3131 Winchester 5.56mm. The cost of all this? Nada. He wouldn't accept anything for it.

All the sealed packs are fine but the three open boxes in the right of the second picture, the ammo didn't look to be in too good of shape. I don't know if it's good or not like this, but I'm not putting it through the AR I don't think. Anyone else have an idea? Would running them through a tumbler for a while clean them up?

Here's a picture of it with the rest of my .223/5.56 (minus the 14 or so loaded mags)

    - 2,000+ rounds = 9mm (mainly) and .357

    - 200 rounds = 30-06 and .243

With a new 590A1 coming, I'll start the stocking process on that soon. My 9mm is my main self-defense weapon and I haven't shot the rifles in some time.

    I think I'm at about
50 rifled slugs, Winchester Ranger, Federal Power Shok, and Federal TruBall.
50 rounds of 00 Buck, Winchester Super X, Hornady TAP, and Federal FliteControl low recoil.
100 rounds of birdshot, mostly Winchester AA 7 1/2.
100 rounds of .45 ACP Federal 230 grain, its either 870 FPS or 900 FPS. I think its the the HydraShok hollow point that is 870 FPS though.

Not nearly the ammo dump of some... But enough for now!

It'll definitely clean em up a bit, but once clean you wanna look closely at the casings for any pits, dimples, or holes. If the integrity of the casings is corrupted in any way it can cause serious damage or injury.

When it comes to ammo my motto is, "When in doubt, THROW IT OUT!"
