Been blessed with some free time to play at the range. Thought I'd bring out ol' reliable - Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm:

Did a warm up at 7 yards - 20 rounds:

Put the target at 10 yards and put the last 30 rounds through her:

Freaking love this gun. Only changes were the sights to Ameriglo Pro i dots, dropped in an apex sear and a heavy trigger spring and really smoothed out that pull and break (stock was way heavier than it should be for the gun size... pulled you off target a bit with the heavy break).

OK enough rambling... did some flashlight drills which I haven't done in a while.... really makes me realize that I have to do a lot of one handed shooting drills in the future (shooting left of center most of the session until the last box of ammo when I finally got my trigger pull doing what I wanted it to):

Very good job with the light manipulation, and with the reload too.

Thanks John. Need a lot more practice on the strong arm only shooting.

The "lobster claw" technique for mag changes seems to work out well.

I should work on malfunction clearing next session - with and without a light

That's not a light. I'm not smart but I'm pretty sure that's a white out pen.
