Any Fly Fishermen on board?

I've had a little free time over the past few days to tie up some flys. Won't need these until June, but it doesn't hurt me to stock up. I'm almost done with everything I planned on doing this winter, so I need to reevaluate and see what else I can do...

I fly fish, but Ive never tied a fly.

It gives me something to do in the winter time. Plus its cheaper than buying them at fly shops, and I can experiment with different patterns and ideas. Today I did a few Tan Elk Hair Caddis flys in between classes.

I own a fly rod but that is about as close as I am to actual fly fishing. I used to do a lot of fishing on the upper michigan trout streams but not so much any more.

I would really love to go fishing in Michigan. I saw on the sportsman channel a few day ago they were fishing the Pier Marquette (not sure on spelling). They were up there salmon fishing it looked like a hellova goo time.
