Balllistic Apps

While at dinner tonight, I was searching for apps on my Android for a ballistics calculator. There were about 25 to choose from. Some were free, most were not.

After I got home, I did a little research and came across this article:

This was a great help in deciding which app to download. I decided to go with the Strelok app since it had the most features and above all, was FREE.

Admittedly, the app is a bit of a headache to set up. I had to find the ballistic info for each of my cartridges, and plug in each of the values. This is a bit tedious and time-consuming.

Once you have all of your info plugged in it seems to do its job. (Of course this is just a functional review since I haven't actually tested it in the field)

I have Strelok on my Droid. It gets updated on a fairly regular basis adding different reticles and other things. Pretty cool. Some of my friends with the really big arms use it regularly.
