Best magazine follower for the 590

[SNAFU]

Hello all.

I want to replace the stock magazine follower in my 590 SP. As you may know, there are numerous brands to chose from. I heard the GG&G unit is good, but some have had problems with it. I also hear the Brownell's stainless steel unit is good, and no one has reported problems with it.

Also, is there a major difference between the aluminum and stainless steel followers?

PS: I also hear it is wise to get a Wolff XP spring, and I plan to add that also.

I have no idea of the answer since I'm just getting acquainted with the 590s too but I'm bumping this up cuz it seems like a reasonable question.

I bought a GG&G follower for my 590A1. I fired several 100s rounds so far with no jams or anything.

yup. I'm around 1,000 rounds with the follower. Zero jams.
