Bolt locking back?

I finally got around to shooting my 715T yesterday. What a mess I had. Question, when the mag is empty, should the bolt lock back or does it just rest against the top of the mag and you have to lock it back manually in order to relieve pressure from the mag to eject it? I want to make sure I am not messing things up here.

It only rests on the empty mag follower and should be manually locked back before removing the mag.

mine rests on the mag, but does not lock back manually.i cleaned it before I ever shot it did I miss something when I reassembled it?

Did you push in on the latch you pull when in t he fully back position?
