Picked up a used Mossberg 500 last month. First Mossberg, first shotgun. I've always been a handgun guy, but it's hard to say "no" to a 12ga. Replaced the factory pistol grip with a stock (20" barrel, so no NFA worries) and it feels great.
I was certainly glad to find it. Some exterior cosmetic issues kept the price down. The bore is perfect though, and it runs just fine. I added a few dings myself when getting the mag tube off, but I didn't buy it to be a safe queen, so no worries.
