Copper BB
I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to add a sight system such as a Lyman or Williams globe style /w rear aperture. It's the only irons I've found that work for my astigmatism, using Lee Shaver inserts (open cross, and double cross/w box.

I'll be using my 500 for only target shooting. And almost always in the daytime. Slugging paper/plates; and also for clays. For clays, a fancy sight system like that would be unnecessary, but for slug shooting, I do want to be able to have them.

This is a newer model 500, with the pre-tapped receiver holes, the front hole with the currently installed factory bead, and missing the rear bead (yes, I purchased it used.)

I've looked at the XS systems, and those require front Dovetail to be present on the front. So, at best I could get just the rear portion, but I'd still need a front sight option to go with it. (e.g. this overly expensive thing : https://www.ebay.com/itm/XS-Sight-S...2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 )

Williams does make this : https://www.opticsplanet.com/willia...5&cnxclid=16350432222194148492510090301008005 ; but that probably won't fit (clamp) to the rib.

There is also this rib to picatinny adapter; https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Y7ZQKH...&linkCode=osi&th=1&keywords=Shotgun+Rib+Mount BUT I can't find a globe sight for a piccatiny rail.

TruGlo does have a vent-rib attaching globe, but there's no way to change the bead out of it.

So, that's were I am at so far - the back end should be easy. either stand-alone screw on aperture, or rail /w aperture. But the front end solution eludes me.
