Completed: Central PA shooting extravaganza

Re: Central PA shooting extravaganza

I may have 2 people going with me! :D WOO! lol

I was thinking maybe after lunch, like 2:00 or 3:00??

Re: Central PA shooting extravaganza

Well today went pretty well if I do say so myself! I am sorry for all of those that were unable to attend! I met a Fellow Moderator today and made a new friend in the area. Rjpoog is a great guy, really nice and friendly, also willing to share ammo! (ALWAYS a winning characteristic! )

We shot some skeet but didn't really get any pictures. Forgot to leave the shells in a pile to take a photo but crap happens :p
He let me shoot his Ruger SR 1911 which didn't help my fetish or want for one lol

We got plenty of Zombie Defense Training in with some targets supplied by my Mother-in-law

Cheese Burger with Chili, Onions, Mustard and Easy-over Egg :D

We also came to the conclusion that you do not need the Mossberg specified "chain saw" to remove any trees from where they stand    I would like to say that I have hooked yet another individual on the power of Slugs and Buckshot!!

We had a fantastic time shooting today! We shot some clays and I'm proud to say I hit more than I missed! courtisy of ricmo i got to try a few new 12 gauge rounds I've never shot before. Punished some zombie targets and a few tree limbs. Polished it all off with some Coney Island got dogs. I'll upload pics later tonight!

lol if you get some spare time and are bored later this week you should go get some pictures of those trees we removed

I'm sure ill be over there at some point. Might be going next weekend, but not sure at the moment. I'll make sure to take some pictures whenever I venture on over.

looks like you guys had a good time,,,,,,,,,i know ya ate good. :D

Awesome guys!...good people, food and guns. Not much more needed than that.

Rick, I thought of you and your Cabela's trip last week today. Hit the local gun club show today. Plenty of name brand 00 buck for about $1 per round. The local gun shop is $1.20 per round. Scored 2 Mini 14 mags for $45. That's not bad but all my others were bought 15 years ago for $7-10.

Oh we certainly ate good! I think that was at like 3pm and here it is almost midnight... I still haven't snacked   I had a hotdog similar to Rjpooog's along with my Sundowners <3

Mike, I need to get my hands on some more 00 Buck. I realized today when I returned home that I have about 75% slugs, 20% 00 buck and 5% Birdshot/Skeet Loads.... I should even out my Slugs to 00 Buck ratio to be equally prepared :p

I have considered ordering such ammunition online and taking the hit on shipping just for the sake of having the ammo. Dick's has Federal Tru-ball slugs $3.99/5 but I am reluctant to purchase from them at all.. after their big ole stink from CT that is... Dirtbags.
