Yesterday the democrat house passed two anti gun bills. One increases the number of days the government can hold up a gun sale from 3 to 10 day. The second law requires background checks for every single sale and transfer of a gun's ownership. When that fails because they don't know who owns the guns we can expect calls for registration. Next up looks like the "assault" weapon ban of 2021

    Of course they are.

They're doing what socialists and communists do.

These are dark days my friend with the "progressives" running the show, the courts littered with their appointees, an obedient media propaganda complex and half the country believing their garbage. It wasn't a question of when this would start but how far they will go.

    Yeah, I know.

It's how they always assume power. Disarm the opposition. It's why the military is guarding the nations capital right now. Again, not at all unlike any takeover that has happened before.

It's only a matter of time. It will be bad. And getting worse daily.

Once the economic bubble bursts, the media blaming everything but the real problem behind it, it's going to get bad.

    Biblical bad.

Pretty soon Patriots will be seeing the "whites of their eyes"...

In related (terrorists and drugs) and unrelated ("asylum seekers") news about ILLEGAL border-crossers, I've seen a video of coyotes ferrying boatloads of illegals across the Rio Grande with hundreds waiting on the Mexican shore for their turn. As I am not particularly Christian, I think the perfect deterrent would be to defend the border militarily and decisively. Yes, I'm talking Ma Duece barking thousands of times across the river keeping in mind terrorists come in all ages so they are ALL fair game... Word would get out VERY QUICKLY and illegal border crossing would abruptly end as well as the illegal activities associated with it...

I have been wondering this too. How long can nations already in debt keep digging deeper and deeper before the whole thing implodes?

I hear Italy is headed back to full lockdown.

I am hearing rumblings of possible lockdowns in Toronto again.

Where does it end...or does it? And, nobody seems to know where all the money is coming from to pay for all this either. They can’t tax their way out this time.

Dark days ahead indeed. I’m with John...we ain’t seen nothing yet.

I'm willing to bet money that some formerly unknown figure is going to rise from obscurity to unite all nations under his rule and make the problem magically go away, most likely shortly after the mysterious disappearance of a major world religion.

Well that sounds pretty damn biblical.

It’s becoming clear that there is no gov around the world that is interested in, or capable of, service to the public.

Our systems now make certain that such are only interested in self promotion, and the indoctrination of new acolytes. I say acolytes because they are being inducted into the religion of money and power. You can put whatever party names you want on this whole business, but that’s all it is in the biblical sense. People fighting over wealth and power, while the rest of us bear the burden of of their desires.

I live in the worlds most powerful nation, or so they told me, and it appears that it is out of control. This means the entire world is out of control.

This is what they call a chaotic system, and chaotic systems will tend to follow entropy. They will devolve, and so the more chaotic and large they are the faster and more complete they could collapse.

Because of modern computers And mass communication, our entire economic system can collapse and be re-organized; and this is what we are currently witnessing, but it is glacial in its activation. The programming was very haphazard because it was all done by haphazard people. When really efficient people decide to program the system using the proper technology, these economic re-organizations may start happening on a very rapid basis.

The people setting all of these things in motion cannot be assured of the outcome, as much as they would like to believe that they are.

For instance, the people in gov enacting control bills. We have gone well past the age where the gun is the most effective weapon. They are playing catch-up ball, as the people load up their closets with everything available. As they institute gun prohibition, you will see a replay of alcohol prohibition.

Our legislature could not enforce prohibition in the state for imported marijuana, so I don’t know how they will enforce the prohibition on imported goods of any type. (They do not of course.)

Instead, what the state gov did was go in with the marijuana business against the wishes of the US federal government.

Based on that logic, California will become like a brown bag state. You will buy your guns from the state.

Well, that should bring a quick end to the ammunition and firearm shortage (insert sarcasm disclaimer here). Take care. Tom Worthington

I didn't mean "you" in the personal sense, Tom. I meant people licensed by this state to own guns. Now they buy with state approval. Soon it will be thru the state indirectly IMO. Imagine the DMV for guns. Eventually it'll be directly from a state store.

I've had many DOJ forms filed with my bonafides included. One for each purchase.
Happened twice now for ammo purchases too. It will happen again. If you can find any.

Valley Rod & Gun is basically a fishing shop since the big buy out started.
The entire gun section is down to 12ga hulls and wads plus steel shot.
No lead of any kind. Even oddball ammo is all gone.
No primers, but still about 30 lbs of powder on the shelf.
I bought a pound of CFE Pistol I didn't need but wanted to try.
So far I'm just sitting on it.
