DIY hollowpoint maker?

I'm considering the purchase of these hollow point makers. It seems like a good idea for a product. One could definitely save a bundle by purchasing the cheap fmj and hollowing them out. One concern I have has to do with the separation of the outer jacket and the lead core when fired. Do you guys have any opinions, observations, concerns, or comments on the product. I would appreciate your insight.

Has 22 hollowpoint ammo really gotten so expensive that this is going to help save money?

I'm considering the 7.62x25 not the .22. To be used on a pps-43 and m-57.

Well at $25, I guess it's not to much to lose if it doesn't work out.
