This is a Winchester Super-X 110 grain .357 Mag, metal jacketed hollow point, from a 50 round white box.

Fortunately the swelling in the middle of the case prevented this round from going all the way into the chamber.

When I pulled the slug out with a pliers, a second slug was found pressed in below it.

This is the first time I've ever seen this happen, but it's only one in a number of Winchester ammunition blunders I've seen recently.

Anyhow I picked up 12 more boxes of ammo, but this time it's all Remington.

D*mn! That will get your attention pretty quick. Thanks for the heads up. Take care. Tom Worthington

Very fortunate it didn't chamber. That could have been bad. Was there a powder charge?

WOW. Thanks for the PSA!

Never seen that happen before.

Glad that you and the gun are OK

Thanks guys.
I don't know if it has powder because I didn't take the second slug yet.

I could drill the second Slug and pull it.

Or I could split the brass. . .might be easier.

Should I send a picture of this to Winchester?
