Fienstein to introduce Assault Weapon Ban

*Vomits* ... PA is turning against it's loyal hunters and sportsmen! I did not know those neat little facts.. I bet the Plane Crash was rigged bwah hahaha The fact that these guys say one thing and than do something completely different should be unconstitutional and they should have to answer for it.

And now it looks like they are going to try and amend the 22nd amendment on presidential term limts. They want Obama for life.
That's horrible! Not only do we need presidential term limits, we ned the for Congress too!

Ric, When Casey Sr. was govenor, he needed a rare dual heart and liver transplant. A guy in the PA state pen was stabbed (I think) and declared brain dead. He was a perfect match for the govenor who went from the bottom of the waiting list to the front. All coincidental unless you believe in conspiracies.

If I had cable, let alone a TV in my house... I would believe everything that came out of it, hands down!!!! :)

You got me... I guess I can't escape the hypnotic influences of the liberal media machine.
...Must...act... like...sheep. ...Must...forfit...my...rights. Must...turn...in...my...guns.

Wait, I'm safe.. I sold all those yesterday, I forgot.

OK, to get back on track, here are several bills that were recently submitted in our 113th Congress.

UGH!!! I wanna see the text!

And its absolute absurdity based on the titles alone.

haha why does no one inform me of these estate sales they are having with their firearms... :( I would be more than glad to purchase them off of you ;D

Wow, John, you have been very busy! Thank you for all the information and here are a few questions:

Is it not already required to have an FFL to purchase ammunition (from Manufacturer) and be a dealer?

"TITLE I--REQUIRING A BACKGROUND CHECK FOR EVERY FIREARM SALE"

Is this their way of attacking Gunshows and Private Party Sales?

"TITLE III--PREVENTION OF TERRORISTS FROM OBTAINING FIREARMS OR EXPLOSIVES"

Really? haha wow....

Wow John, impressive list you put together and equally depressing by its size.

The mayor in the town I grew up in near here is one of the Bloomburg mayor's against guns morons. He is big for the reporting stolen guns requirement. I don't know anyone that wouldn't report a stolen gun and I know that's the excuse that straw purchasers use. On the other hand I know people that have enough guns that if one was stolen they may not notice it for several months. I know of older folks that have had a gun in the bottom of a dresser for most of their life. It could be gone a year and they wouln't know. Again, let's punish the law abiding instead of the thief. Lord knows they can't stop the thief so let's blame the guy that didn't break any laws.

Well of course, Mike! Why would they take the hard route when it is much, MUCH easier to blame us! I think straw purchasing laws have only punished the law abiding citizen anyhow... It sure hasn't deterred any criminals from doing it..

Cant find any information on this one. But would this be a step in the right direction? Allowing guns in/around schools? Or am I off on my interpertation?

Frank

You and I both are on the same page here. As I take this title to mean that they want to lessen or take away the "gun-free zone" altogether!

If this is the case, we need to team up and back this. Some one actually has their head screwed on right. If "Anything" needs to pass, it would be Gun Reforms like this, not more controled legislation.

I guess at this point, without more info, it is hope....

Frank

I think with the ammo, they want to stop online purchases by requiring face to face sales and they want large or bulk purchases (what would constitute a bulk purchase?) to be flagged to the fbi, dhs, or atf I guess

The one about background checks for every firearm transaction I believe targets sales at gun shows as well as private sales, like for the shotgun I sold to a guy at work.

I really wanna be able to read these, anxiously in fact, and no way should there be able to be any sort of debate or vote till we can see them.

frank castle, I think your interpretation is correct, but I doubt it will pass.

My thought as well.

Contrary to popular belief, multiple firearm purchases are also flagged currently

I have looked at a few, and some of them are downright scary.

In hr21 don't like the thought of the attorney general (or any singular individual) to be abe to deny gun transfers. We already know that he's incapable of taking care of guns that were given to the mexican drug gangs. Too much power where that authority should not be given to a single individual.

By 1968 law, he is already responsible for deterimining the definition of "sporting", which I feel is detrimental already as I'm certain that you guys saw him completely ignore plinking and 3 gun and other legitimate sporting clubs when he was trying to ban certain shotguns last year.

In hr34, they ARE wanting to setup a registration across the board through FFL transfers and wanting to be able to track the chain of ownership.

Also, hr134 is another big one to watch and is the most likely to include most of the AWB junk considering that McCarthy is the one who submitted it.

hr142 restricts lawful commerce in so many ways its's not even funny

:x :x :x

John, or someone, are you able to paste some of the text here? I can't open any of it on my phone. I guess cuz its pdf form? I've tried using adobe for mobile but I still can't make it open stuff.

Thanksfor all you guys are doin already!

Please? :D
