My 500 CT is missing the front bead sight. Going to order one from Numrich this week. Anyway do any of you use Loctite on said part? I work at an auto shop so I can get either one, red or blue. Suggestions? Thanks.

IMO I'd use the blue just in case you ever want to change it.

Red if you don't want it to come off. Loctite is anerobic, meaning any excess outside of the threads will not dry so a little dab will do ya! :)

When I was teaching automotive we had a simple chart of red, white and blue. Red was Loctite 271 (or equiv.), White was PTFE thread paste, Blue was Loctite 242 (or equiv.).
