Londons Muslim Mayor issues warning to Trump

The new Muslim mayor of London has issued a warning to Donald Trump: Moderate your stance on Muslims, or they will launch more attacks against America.


Trump recently praised Sadiq Khan for winning London’s mayoral race, and said he would be willing to create an exception in his policy restricting Muslim entry into the United States in order to allow Khan to visit. But in a statement Tuesday, Khan dismissed Trump’s invitation, and also denounced his views on Islam as “ignorant,” suggesting Trump’s policies would increase the terrorist threat in both the U.S. and U.K.

“Donald Trump’s ignorant view of Islam could make both of our countries less safe – it risks alienating mainstream Muslims around the world and plays into the hands of extremists,” he said. “Donald Trump and those around him think that Western liberal values are incompatible with mainstream Islam – London has proved him wrong.”

While Khan touted the liberal values of British Muslims, some polls have found worrying indicators that their assimilation is incomplete. A poll in April, for instance, found that two-thirds of British Muslims would not tell the government if a friend or family member became involved with extremists. Half of them said homosexuality should be illegal and over 20 percent supported establishing sharia in the U.K.

Khan doesn't understand what a "Token ######" is.

I cant use the actually word, even in the context of a linguistics discussion, as I'd prefer to remain uncensured.

How diversity Works in London is the white English people are afraid of the islamics, and don't want riots and looting and burning and stabbings and beheadings and kidnappings and bombings in their City, so they throw the Muslims a bone, in the form of Mayor Khan.
 
Which brings up this side issue...

Are we doing that here in America?

Are we making peace with an enemy under the auspices of Christian love?
... or are we really just slowly caving under the pressure of an oppressive virtual regime claiming to be holy and thus avoiding our cultural taboo against tampering with a person's religion?

While I feel it's awful that 20% of the Muslims in London would like to have Sharia law (which is of course the legalization of Muslim attacks of revenge against infidels.)

The truth is that 20% of my church would probably like to take their BBQ knife & behead a few Muslims right now.

I don't see that forced integration of these societies is going to lead to Peaceful cohabitations.

I feel for my British forefathers, spinning in their graves.

Which will lead to exactly that which they want to avoid once the population hits a certain percentage.
 
One thing is for certain in my mind.
I don't believe that arrangement will lead to peace.

I have a different idea there, than the hopeful Londoners.
 
Who cares what the MUSLIM has got to say...especially from London.

There are rumblings already about London's new mayor....during the run-up, he was promoting himself as a moderate muslim, and he was seen out with his wife in western clothes and an uncovered head... at his first official meeting, she sat way behind him wearing a hijab, so the rumours are that hes not as moderate as he said....

Glad I don't live in London....

Here everyone is stepping very gently around the muslim issue... the Anti-Terrorist unit recently staged an exercise involving a terrorist detonating a suicide vest in a major shopping center... apparently the guy playing the terrorist shouted "Allahu Akbar" before "detonating" the vest.
This annoyed muslims so the Police apologized..!!

Who else is going to use a suicide vest...!?!?
