Thanks. The fawn still looked wet. It was only hours or a day old I think, but I am no expert on fawns. Sure was doin what its ma was tellin it...Hide!
That's great hombre. I've seen a few small fawns, but none that young.
I enjoy seeing nature in its' natural setting like that.
I know a lot of times farmers have problems with coyotes following around an animal (especially cattle) that is about to give birth. Seems that they can sense or perhaps smell it a day or two before it happens because there have been a lot of occasions where the baby doesn't make it very long.
