Mossberg 500 magazine tube and barrel on 535

I know this is an older thread, but has anyone had any issues developed from this mod?

As long as you swap both the barrel and magazine tube, they work fine. But DO NOT shoot 3.5" rounds out of it. The reciever will still cycle them, but the barrel will not like it, and may be ruined afterwards, or blow up.

Thanks. I just picked up my 535 this evening and plan on doing this relatively soon. I'll be sure to share my experiences as you all have.

I performed this swap on my 835 and it has worked flawless. As was mentioned just make sure you only use rounds the installed barrel can handle.
