Mossberg 500 Pump Action Photo Gallery

Adam, Welcome to Mossberg Owners from E TN. Pretty nice finish on your 500. Makes mine look sort of plain.

It's actually just desert tan spray paint. I have not worn it down yet. I like the battle worn look. It was still work to strip and paint.

Oh, Desert tan. The way it displayed on my tablet screen it looked like arctic white, like a weapon you'd be taking on a military trek thru Norway and Finland. As I look at the pic now on the laptop the muzzle is definitely tan. Thanx.

On one screen it looked white, yet tan to yellowish on another. Depending on color temp settings...

(I thought a white gun with a light was odd.)

Here's two of my 3- 1983 500ATP, and a 1973 500AB

The 500AB I got for $229 used with a 28" full choke barrel, and I bought a 24" slugster for it, it wasn't that used, and has jeweled lifter and bolt, and I have a matching 20 gauge same year same jeweling

The 500ATP I got from cabelas for $299, it had the original 18" barrel with heat shield and sling mounts on it. Barely used. I didn't need it but it was too cool to pass up- runs flawlessly

That's not a 20 gauge- that's the 500ATP and yes I believe it is a bantam stock from the factory although LOP is about the same, the shape is very different

The heat shield mossy is a great shotgun. You really have a winner there. Put a birds head or a pistol grip on it and it would be a great HD gun. Real badass.

Nice pair Murica!!!

Thanks! The jeweled bolts and lifters were factory/ from what I could find, these two could have been sold through sears in the early 70's
